Brief system overview

Holman Engineering designed and installed a parking guidance system for Kareela Village Shopping Centre to help customers and staff find available spaces efficiently.

Challenge

The centre has parking distributed over four levels. Availability needed to be calculated accurately and displayed clearly to drivers.

Holman approach

Induction loops installed on ramps and major entrances/exits monitor movements between levels. Real-time availability is then displayed on LED signs throughout the car park.

Outcome

The system gives customers clearer parking information and provides the centre with an efficient method for monitoring occupancy between levels.
