Occupational Health & Safety

Safe work practices for engineering, installation and support.

Holman Engineering maintains an Occupational Health and Safety system as part of its Integrated Management System, supporting safe project delivery across workshops, customer sites and field installation environments.

Safety System

Protecting people while delivering reliable systems.

Holman Engineering’s OH&S system promotes and maintains a safe working environment for employees, subcontractors, clients and members of the public who may be affected by our work.

The system is managed through Holman’s Integrated Management System and aligns with modern occupational health and safety management expectations, including planning, hazard identification, risk assessment, consultation, training, incident reporting and continuous improvement.

Holman employees have general construction industry induction training and relevant site training where required. The business has also supported work in rail environments, where site access, safe work planning and coordination are critical.

Controls

Safety considered through the full project lifecycle.

From planning to installation and maintenance, safety is treated as part of the engineering process.

PlanningHazard and risk review

Work activities are reviewed so hazards can be identified and controlled before work begins.

Site workSafe installation practices

Field work is managed around access, electrical safety, traffic areas, working at heights and client site requirements.

TrainingInductions and competency
